Fishing at NNWR
Northern pike and bullheads inhabit refuge waters, as well as black crappies, bluegills, and sunfish. Sprague and Goose pools are open to fishing from June 1 through September 15 and December 15 through March 15. Suk Cerney Flowage is open year round, except during waterfowl season. Harvey's Pond is open year round.
Hunting at NNWR
Portions of the refuge are open to deer, migratory waterfowl, wild turkey, and small game hunting in accordance with State regulations. No special Federal-hunting permit is required.
